Students will:
- understand a variety of grade level texts using cues and comprehension strategies appropriately and effectively
- use a variety of reading strategies to understand text
- use spell-check, dictionaries, and other media/print references to confirm spelling and meaning of words
- edit for correct sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, and spelling in own writing
